Sarah Kippax is a professional squash player and competes on the women’s (WISPA) world tour. She has represented England 21 times at senior level and was selected for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi – a dramatic rise from her early days at Winsford leisure centre in Cheshire, where she started playing squash at the age of 11.

 

To Sarah, who is now based in Halifax in the UK, is currently ranked 15 in the world rankings and became the first English woman in almost 10 years to win three successive women’s world tour titles when she clinched the Malco Open in Sweden in March 2009. She has appeared in 13 World Tour Finals and has won 7 World Tour Titles.

Firmly established as a member of Team England, on the England Squash and Racketball Performance Programme, Sarah trains regularly in Manchester at the National Squash Centre and English Institute of Sport (EIS). In the Commenwealth Games, Sarah has also represented England at the World Team Championships, as well as the European Individual and Team Championships.

As a World Championships ambassador and a brand ambassador for both Hi-Tec and Dunlop, Sarah is one of the most recognisable and highest profile players in British Squash and is supported by squash fans all over the world.
